I can only really poke about at possible optimisations, but without any info I'm stabbing in the dark. if you are able to look in tools>browser tools>browser console in firefox or whatever the equivalent is in your browser if it's not firefox. then try posting and tell me what it says.

I just started episode 5. They just escaped the nebula. I just found it strange that they made someone like Shaw into a captain. Such a disrespectful man, unwilling to take any risks. But later on they explained that he has a reason to specifically hate the Borg, and therefore Seven, so that fixed things a bit. Am also working on my Star Wars edit, by the way. 🦖

Yes captain Shaw grew on me. Something I liked about TNG was that every other Starfleet captain we see felt very real and believable to me, especially when they were acting in dubious ways. At first Shaw felt like a caricature, but as the show passed he did seem more fleshed out and believable.

I found the tension between Riker and Picard to be disquieting, but I really enjoyed Shaw. Do you still dislike him or do you think he is growing on you?

Just finished episode 4 of season 3. Phew, this is the best episode yet. They finally got it. They finally nailed the Star Trek feel, and it's so good. It's emotional, it's intense and it has a little bit of magic. Yadayadayada: The plot with Picard's son is actually well done. The TNG cast does great. Their motives seem believable. I like the tension between Riker and Picard. The pacing is good too, the story has room to breathe. I suppose it's also just great that it's finally a story that takes place on a starship. That's part of why it feels more like classic Trek than the first seasons.

Heya, thanks for the post, I am feeling a lot better having made the decision. My head feel clearer and more focused. I feel I'm more able to balance my attention across my other social connections; forums, reddit, facebook, etc. Thanks for the votes of confidence!! Just popped on and noticed that the Fanworx Discord Server channels are mostly down, I don't think it was a failed experiment if anything having both a server and a Discord has it's benefits though I do understand why having to moderate such a thing was overwhelming. As to the manner of interaction, some people are just more talkative than others and sometimes others just don't know what to say or how to respond to certain things or questions so they listen and observe what's going and express interest in there own ways such as through likes and emojis. I am a bit of an introvert so I don't talk much and sometimes I just don't know what to say about some things well other things simply don't grab my attention, I often checked both the Discord Server and this site once a day whenever I could just to see what was occuring. As to why I haven't posted any Fan Creator content yet I tend to be very meticulous with the stuff I work on and often get quite absorbed into a project, my current edit requires a lot of foresight and planning to get right though I will start adding more stuff to my eventual library hopefully sometime this year. I also plan to read your Guyver Manga Translation and review other people's edits at some point, I think the fact that you were able to not only run an entire Discord Server and create Fanworx through immense and intricate coding annnnnnnd translate a Japanese manga into English shows that you are a very talented individual. Though I don't know you personally from what I've seen of your interactions with other people I can tell that your a generally compassionate and open minded person, anyway I hope that wherever you are or whatever your doing right now things get better for you. As usual I,ll pop on here whenever I can, I certainly prefer this place over FE.Org.

thanks for brining this up. I've been posting without any issues, so this is puzzling. I'm seeing an image in the gallery of an error, so the upload worked, but it hasn't been inserted into your post. This points to a javascript issue. Do you know how to view your browser console? if not, can you tell me what machine you are using and the name of your browser and any addons that might block page scripts. edit: I feel this may just be lag. it seems there is a delay between clicking the button and the server response. I'll need to troubleshoot.

I mean I see the huge latest messages thing, but that feels a bit much, I like how on the other site it was a little icon that I scrolled over then saw everything, though maybe that's too specific, idk. Might make some feel overwhelmed getting paragraphs randomly on the side. Just my opinion though I'm not an expert.

Hi, so I just made 3x post because I went to submit my movies I saw on castle in the sky and aristocats and when I pressed submit message it did nothing, it looked like it anyways, I didn't see an error, at all, so I clicked it to make sure I didn't mis-click and then one more time, reloaded it and there were 3. THEN it suddenly said this, and I'm like- but you just submitted my post?? Also I'm not even seeing that my image is attached? So I'm hoping it is, I dm'd you the error I got, but will see if it attaches here.

Notifications on fe.org are a great feature because I can know someone chimed in on my post or another's and thus see community. While maybe we wouldn't say copy the system, the idea could be introduced. It's great to wake up and see Ohh people are chatting about my MI edit, or the films they watched, on fanworx I have to scroll through each forum individually.

Castle In The Sky (1988) Castle In The Sky is Studio Ghiblis second release and in my honest opinion I didn't love it. I thought it still had beautiful visuals and moments, but I overall think it's my least favorite out of the four I have seen. Probably because I expected it to be a giant fantasy epic and its really not, not in a medeivial sense. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't say I loved it. Final Rating would probably be a 6/10 - ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ /⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ The Aristocats (1970) is great, it's honestly a musical sensastion and another fun Disney feature bursting at the seams with rib tickling fun as some might say! It's honestly a great film, it's simplistic, it's adventurous and funny, all the songs while few feel like they fit, especially "Everybody Wants To Be A Cat" I will admit I did feel like it had some shading issues, there's one bit at the beginning where duchess goes cream colored for that sequence in the scene, then is back to her normal white fur? I've heard that the models took awhile to be finalized so that could explain! Is it a little dated with some moments? Sure, but it's delightful Disney fun!! Honestly I don't have any negatives, it's art style fits it's location, and even odd moments like the Geese are just so charming and the animators made the smart move to make them not stick around the whole film. They go to Paris, find Boris then leave, and it works! Honestly a 9/10 film! - ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ /⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

This is an amazing fan edit, I really think this improves the original film, there are still some changes I am for or against (will dm about) but with what you were given this is a spectacular retooling, that may not fix everything but certainly makes it feel more like an appropriately toned yet fun film. I really like what you did here, and if I pick up more marvel movies on Blue-Ray, I'll check out your other edits!!

I am submitting a review for the work in progress edit. The ideas are sound and the test footage that has been shown so far is of a good standard.

(image) Gay Purr-ee (1962) is such an odd film, it's plot is kind of bizzare and is at times. nonsensical. But it's so interesting, everything in the film is gorgeous, Paris, the cats, the buildings, everything has so much color and vibrance. Even rough moments like the unneeded artists reviews, there's just such artistry in replicating the artists being spoken about. Plot wise and character wise, pretty terrible. About as basic as you'd expect, but visually like this looked great, and honestly I liked Judy Garlands voice-acting and songs, even if the lyrics were pretty amateur. Definitely see why compared to other animated features it's story is bashed, but amongst visuals especially in 1962 it soars. To the argument "The Aristocats" copied it, I could see some bits, but this film unlike that actually tries to be visually stunning. I really liked this. 9/10 - ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ /⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
